Halotolerant phosphate-solubilizing bacteria (PSB) contribute significantly to enhancing phosphorus availability in salt-contaminated soils, promoting crop yield, and decreasing reliance on chemical fertilizers. Herein, nursery soil samples yielded halotolerant PSB using serial dilution and spread plating on Pikovskaya agar amended with NaCl. Preliminary screening spotted phosphate-solubilizing strains based on halo zone appearance.

Macroscopic examination revealed compound leaves with ovate […]
Regulatory affairs are essential for maintaining legal and ethical compliance across various industries. They serve as a key link between organizations, government authorities, and the public, ensuring that products—particularly in areas such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, food, cosmetics, and medical devices—meet safety, quality, and efficacy standards.
A series of 1-substitutedformamidino 3-formamidinothiocarbamides (5a-e) derivatives of biological interest have been synthesized by refluxing the cyanoguanidine(1) with different thiourea in acetone medium for 10 hr, leading to the formation of a diverse range of substituted compounds. Structural characterization of the synthesized derivatives was performed using IR, 1H NMR & mass spectrum and mass spectroscopy.
This study investigated the impact of storage on safflower leaf extracts, focusing on changes in chemical composition over 33 hours at room temperature. The parameters analyzed included - Dry Matter (DM) content, Nitrogen (N) content and Water-Soluble Reducing Sugars (WSRS). The study also examined the effects on Leaf Protein Concentrate (LPC) and Deproteinised Juice (DPJ).
The pharmacogenetic findings validate the traditional use of Cassia auriculata petals in Ayurveda and Siddha medicine. The presence of therapeutic bioactive like quercetin and kaempferol supports their antioxidant, antihyperglycemic, and anti-inflammatory activities. This profile reinforces the plant’s potential for standardization in phytopharmaceutical development and community-based herbal healthcare.
This review consolidates findings from contemporary research, focusing on bioactivity of plant extracts, synthesis of epoxidized alkyd and polyurethane resins from vegetable oils, starch-based polymer blends, value-added chemicals from microalgae, and innovations in castor oil–derived curing agents.
Microplastics (MPs) have become widespread pollutants, infiltrating terrestrial ecosystems and threatening soil–plant interactions. Although most research on MPs has focused on aquatic environments, recent studies highlight their potential to change soil physicochemical properties and affect plant growth responses. In this study, we examined the effects of soil-applied MPs on root morphology and water uptake in […]
Evidence -Based Practice (EBP) is a systematic approach to clinical decision-making that combines patient preferences, professional knowledge, and the best available research data to enhance health outcomes. EBP, which emerged from evidence-based medicine in the 1990s, is now a fundamental aspect of contemporary nursing practice and healthcare. It entails developing precise clinical questions, locating and […]
Ctenopharyngodon idella (grass carp) is an important aquaculture species valued for its rapid growth and adaptability to diverse feeding regimes. The present study evaluated the growth performance, specific growth rate (SGR), and feed conversion ratio (FCR) of grass carp under three dietary treatments: plant-based feed (maize and rice bran), animal-based feed (fish meal), and a […]
Soil fertility and plant productivity are strongly governed by the availability of essential nutrients, among which inorganic non-metals occupy a central position. Non–metals like nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), sulphur (S), chlorine (Cl), and boron (B) influence critical biochemical and physiological processes, thereby determining crop growth and yield. Nitrogen is indispensable for chlorophyll, amino acid, and […]
The use of remote sensing methods for accurate and continuous monitoring of the Earth is increasing. Thus, various approaches are adopted for analyzing its data (imagery) for precise results. For example, one may analyze remotely sensed data collected at different scales or resolutions giving rise to the concept of multiscale remote sensing. Remotely sensed data […]
This project focuses on the synthesis and application of benzanilide, an aromatic amide, through the Beckmann rearrangement of benzophenone oxime, utilizing the conventional acid-catalyzed process with concentrated sulfuric acid. The method was evaluated based on several factors, including yield, purity, safety, environmental impact, and ease of execution. Characterization of the synthesized benzanilide was performed using […]
Nephrolithiasis, or kidney stone disease, is a common and recurrent urological disorder influenced by urinary supersaturation, pH, anatomical factors, infections, genetics, and diet. Calcium-containing stones (oxalate and phosphate) are most prevalent, followed by uric acid, struvite, cystine, and rare stones. Diagnosis relies on clinical assessment, urine and serum studies, and imaging techniques such as ultrasound, […]
Since the launch of the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) and the entry of tech platforms such as Google Pay (GPay), India’s payments and banking landscape has experienced rapid transformation. This paper examines the impact of GPay on digital banking trends and the broader movement towards a cashless economy in India. It synthesizes transaction and regulatory […]
Rapid advances in satellite remote sensing, low-cost Internet of Things (IoT) sensors, and geospatial artificial intelligence (GeoAI), combined with emerging 'digital twin' frameworks, have transformed environmental monitoring from episodic, sparse measurements to dense, near-real-time, multi-scale observational systems.
