Miers. belongs to family Menispermaceae, is a climbing shrub<br \/>\nfrom Bargarh district, Odisha India. Both the solvents water and ethanol were used to obtain<br \/>\nextracts of leaves and stems i.e. used for qualitative phytochemical screening by using standard<br \/>\nmethods. In this finding alcohol shows a higher solubility rate as compared to water. Present<br \/>\nfinding shows the presence of carbohydrates, proteins, alkaloids, flavanoids, saponins,<br \/>\nglycosides, steroids, terpenoids, phenolics and tannins.
